We will be open for our 11:00 morning worship service this Sunday, November 22nd!
All services will resume except for our 10:00 AM Sunday School services until further notice.
We are looking forward to seeing everyone again, but want to do so with wisdom and in a responsible manner to keep everyone in our church family safe. We will make every effort to lessen the risk for those who attend, but we will not be able to eliminate all risk, so those who attend will need to come with that understanding.
In order to provide as safe a worship experience as possible, we will be observing the following procedures.
· We will have a greeter holding the door open so that you can enter and exit safely.
· There will be face masks and gloves available at the front entrance; worshipers will be encouraged, but not required to wear them.
· We recommend frequent hand washing or the use of sanitizer which will be available in the foyer.
· We will be seated every other row with six feet of distance between individuals or family units.
· We will not be distributing bulletins or passing offering plates; there will be an offering box available on the table in the foyer.
· Hymn books and offering envelopes will be removed from the pews; words for songs will be provided.
· Before the service, the auditorium, foyer, and bathrooms will be cleaned and sanitized.
· We strongly encourage you to practice social distancing before and after the services, which includes limiting any gathering in the church building. Moving outside the building following the services will allow for continued fellowship while providing more space for social distancing.
· Please refrain from handshaking, embracing, or any close personal contact.
. If you are in any way uncomfortable with the risks of meeting together, we respect your position.
· Please stay home if you are ill with any kind of symptoms, or if you have health conditions that make you more vulnerable than others, or if you have family members who are at high risk.
We understand that there are differing views on COVID-19, and that everyone may not agree with these procedures thinking they are too restrictive or not restrictive enough. We ask that you do what you believe is best for you and your family, and display love and grace to those who may have a different viewpoint.
May we as a church see the providence of God in this pandemic and use it as an opportunity to serve a world desperately in need of the hope that we have in Christ.
In Christ,
Pastor Eric Wiens
